India Boosts Science & Technology with New Biofoundry Network, ISRO Tech Transfers, and Cyber Security Initiatives

In significant advancements for India's science and technology sector, the country has launched its first National Biofoundry Network to accelerate biotechnology for economic growth, environmental benefit, and employment, targeting a $300 billion bioeconomy by 2030. Concurrently, IN-SPACe facilitated the transfer of five key ISRO-developed technologies to Indian companies, promoting self-reliance and reducing import dependence across various industries. Furthermore, the Indian Army has initiated a national cyber challenge, 'Terrier Cyber Quest 2025,' to leverage emerging technologies like AI, ML, Quantum Computing, and Drones for national defence and cybersecurity.
