India Forges Ahead in Science & Technology with New Observatory, Sports Innovation, and Startup Initiatives

India has seen significant advancements in its science and technology landscape over the past 24 hours. Key developments include the commencement of construction for the country's first gravitational wave observatory, LIGO-India, in Maharashtra. Additionally, a crucial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the National Centre of Sports Science Research (NCSSR) and IIT-Delhi to boost sports science and indigenous innovation. Furthermore, IIT Madras has launched 'INNOVATION-TN', India's inaugural state-level dashboard dedicated to fostering startups and innovation in Tamil Nadu.
