India Triumphs Over Pakistan in Asia Cup Amidst Political Protests
India secured a seven-wicket victory against arch-rivals Pakistan in their Group A fixture of the T20 Asia Cup 2025 held in Dubai. The AAP initiated protest marches in Delhi, urging a boycott of the match and targeting the BCCI and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Adding to the charged atmosphere, the Indian team notably skipped the customary handshake with Pakistani players post-match, with reports indicating it was a gesture of solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
